Once again our Church has sent a group of youth to SSP.  The team worked on homes on a Native American Reservation in Northern Calif.  They were gone from June 26 to July 3.

You Kyung Kang graduated from Clarement School Of Theology on May 18, 2010.  You Kyung was our Intern for 2009-2010 and many members of the church got to know her.  Rev. Hickman attended the graduation and got to meet her parents who came from Korea for the event.  You Kyung will continue her preparation for pastoral ministry by taking courses in pastoral care next fall. On March 13th the United Methodist Women made a trip to visit the David And Margaret Home for girls in La Verne.  The Home is a ministry of United Methodist Women.

Congregation Beth Shalom  had its menorah lit for Hanukah this year.
